Don't want to sound like a jackass or anything but how exactly do I get a picture up?

Edit: Never mind, here is what I have been up to for the last couple of days, its just a pallet and a layout hack for sonic 1



If you think the color is awful let me know because I have been struggling to get a nice color different from the original GHZ.

 

Make sure the image is in PNG format, upload it to a site such as "tinypic.com", obtain the link to the image, and post it here, but make sure you put at the beginning of the link, and at the end of the link, for example:

It isn't awful, but everything blends together. I would add more color to differentiate things.

 

I love it. Is it also possible to change the color of the pipes so they stand out more?

No the pipe is fine.

 

Here we are a slightly improved version, in my opinion the color is better than it was.

 

It is, though I think it still can be improved.

 

I like the color of the grass but the green on the tree stem looks weird and I'm not a fan of the brown and black color combination.

 

Yeah I'm beginning to get annoyed with the green stem on the tree, is there any way I could fix this as I'm still new to the hacking scene.

 

I have no hacking skills at all, but it seems obvious you'd have to edit the sprite to replace that colour, or revert it to a brown in the palette.

 

Just edit the palm tree in SonED2, find the tiles after opening the level, and then replace the green with a brown.

 

The only problem is is that that changes the colour of the hills also.

 

Tidbit meant that you should edit the art tiles, not the palette.

 

I wasn't going to do a bad future but... something in me... wanted me to..

I've also done a edited version of ghz music to make it sound more dull and bad.

 

That is actually pretty nice work!

A suggestion: Make a few construction sites ontop of the mountains for bad future and make the trees huge in the past (also no tubes)
