Nothing amazing unless you're a fag for indie comics artists and Slave Labor Graphics like I am, but my favourite comic artist Aaron Alexovich has drawn Tails on one of his latest commissioned pieces. It's not bad, either.
I knew this for about 3 months before it came out, and was so sad that I couldn't share it. There's also the "snoo-ping as usual" line, which makes me laugh until tears on a regular basis.
Has anyone else noticed that this plane has a tiny back wheel that is useless? Also if this plane lands in anything but water it's going to fucking scrape that jet tank to the point of explosion.
To be fair, I guess you could assume the jet-tank would fold up into the plane, but then again it is almost as big as the plane itself.
I'm sure Tails can build things fast, but actually implimenting that feature in the Tornado in such little time? Doesn't sound likely.
In Sonic 2, there's no jet pack in Sky Chase, Tails adds it only when you go to Death Egg. And since Sonic 3 is the continuation of the story, the jet pack is still on the plane.
Sonic 3 doesn't start immediately after Sonic 2. (That rocket doesn't show up anywhere in Sonic 2. In fact, that's how you can tell. :P)
I always thought that it does. The opening of Sonic 3 follows up from the ending of Sonic 2. It does, as Tadashi said.
The Sonic & Knuckles Collection manual clearly states that many months pass between the games. Did you think that Eggman crashed, befriended Knuckles, and built all that stuff in five minutes? Edit: Okay, it was many days. But still.
I don't know if anyone brought this up yet, but... In the game Home Improvement (Yes, the show had a game), there are similarities to Sonic the Hedgehog. -Tim Taylor wears a full blue-suit -The game relies on speed. There is even a power-up that speeds you up, though the framerate drops. -You have to collect bolts (looking similar to rings, and acts like them.) When you get hit, you're left with zero and have to get them back similarly to Sonic the Hedgehog -There is an invincibility power-up that has stars spin around your character and changes the music Now, I never got pass the first level of the game, but there might be other similarities.
It's not a bug, it's a feature. Oh wait. Death Egg in S3K must me right above Angel Island Zone, due to Tails being able to get back to the plane in about 5 minutes. between him helping sonic fight the last boss in Death Egg, then the trip back to Angel Island, he must have gone pretty fast to get back to the plane, then fly back up to find sonic. Unless he set the plane to hover around the Island in wait, and he just happened upon it in time. in MY sonic 3, he parked it at the beach.
Well clearly he has no care for his planes. Remember the last time Tails drove around the Tornado 2? Ya he jumped out of it in the Sonic Heroes intro and let it crash.
