:v: Clearly I've must have been playing the game wrong then, I've never tried that in my playthroughs. Nope, pretty sure Taxman or Stealth said they have removed the uncontrollable jump for this game. So you'll be able to move horizontally when jumping out of rolls like in Sonic CD.
Differences in IGN footage compared to recent footage: -GHZ act 2 has a slightly different layout and the proper music -Ziplines are a different color -Mirage Saloon Act 2's music changed a little and has modified layout -Little boss area near the end is different Apparently there will also be more news tomorrow.
Aaah Christ, this reminds me: Someone NEEDS to back up ORKAL's glitch exhibitions before Youtube removes annotations forever. They're too good to be lost!
Oh my god, Robotnik's animations. =O Take a closer look, Sonic lands one last hit that can be barely seen due to his post-hit invincibility and the video not being 60FPS
Where can we find this new Mirage Saloon footage? I'm most intrigued about the music changes. ICEknight, I see what you mean, it's a video quality and quick for thing.
Sorry to panic, but are they going to remove annotations?? How can we back them up with the annotations? Back on topic, if anyone is interested, someone made an EVEN MORE CLEAN rip of CPZ Act 2 dance remix.
Well, here's a new Mirage Saloon gameplay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9BnajXumaM It is still act 2, but the final is a little different; there's a boss area, bot not a boss though.
Hmmm, that boss area was present in an earlier build, but the capsule was right after the hole leading there. The capsule is now in apparently it's final position, right after the boss area (as capsules normally do), but no boss spawn.
YouTube has removed the possibility of making annotations, but they won't be removed from the videos that have them already.
They don't work on various youtube apps or on the mobile site, so yeah, I'd like to see hardcoded annotations.
Found the whole thing: http://m.ign.com/videos/2017/06/13/sonic-mania-switch-new-gameplay-ign-live-e3-2017 Can't hear much music over the talking, but at least it's a decent discussion.
Man, Aaron really loves selling the "Player 2 can play as Tails" feature. Every single time he talks about Mania he has to mention it.
I hope it's to tease an enhanced co-op mode, because as it is in the originals co-op mode bordered on the unplayable (and would tip into the unplayable when the action got too fast).
http://www.ign.com/videos/2017/06/13/6-minutes-of-sonic-mania-gameplay-of-sonic-tales-and-knuckles-e3-2017 Direct feed footage. Audio seems to be in mono though.
I like that remix now that I've heard that cleaner rip. Still liking this one more because it's metal: Erock's "Chemical Plant meets metal"
It was probably just a design choice. If they wanted to keep it the way it was, they could just put the icon thing on the right side of the ring count.
