This is how it would have turned out if I'd personally chosen the developers and direction, and I think that goes for most of us here. I mean, this is OUR dream Sonic game. Literally could not have been any better. I'm in that zone right now where something so amazing has happened that I haven't really processed it yet and it doesn't seem real. GAH.
I am literally at a loss for words. I had to watch the trailer a 2nd time to believe what I was actually seeing. I cannot wait until next year for this game. I need it NOW.

I think it's safe to say the fans of Mega Drive era Sonic have been appeased. Sonic Mania looks beautiful. Here's hoping the darn thing will be playable at Summer of Sonic. One can dream :v:

I imagine it'll be on NX, right? It'd be awfully weird if it wasn't. But the NX logo _still_ hasn't been revealed, so they might not be able to put it in the trailer. I bet we'll hear something soon.
Big congrats to Stealth and Taxman! Sega couldn't have picked a better programming team. I genuinely feel like they'll bring back the magic with this one.
