No, keep it as blitzed, it's just one opinion after all =P As for the Sonic art, that's actually not too bad.
You have my thanks MarkeyJester, Sparks. I apreciate the support on keeping it as blitzed, and as I liked it from the start it'll stay that way. I hope to post more about my project when it gets to that stage of significance.
I'm glad you like the signpost however, Animemaster. And randomselect, good idea. Although I feel Sonic Blitz sounds better.
On the subject of "blitzed"; while it's a fancy and uncommon word, it does not mean "rushed through" or anything like that - according to a dictionary, it's basically slang for "completely inebriated". While having Sonic inebriate an act is a very innovative concept, it's probably not what you're intending to do. Personally, I'd suggest "blazed" instead.
So THAT's the sercret project you were working on? Pretty cool! While I like the present and future art very much, I don't really like the art for the past version. Edit: I assumed the future was the one on the bottom (dusk palette)
Fuck the dictionary, I like the name blitzed, plus it's not a "re" name, god knows how many of them we've had (I too admit to falling into that trap lol), though Blazed seems a decent name. Anime, I see where you're going with this and I find it very interesting, or better yet awesome. However I do get the feeling that it's awefully similar to Overbounds fangame in terms of design and idea, but that's just me moaning as usual =P Welp regardless, nice work.
Biltz sounds cool, so I would say stick with that. ^ nevermind this guy already said what I had wanted to. Refering to those new screenies, what's with the life counter?
Hmm, I've not heard of that meaning before. I think he was going for the non-slang definition, which is to quickly destroy something. Pretty suitable, I'd say! (It comes from the German "blitzkrieg", meaning "lightning war", which was a military tactic employed by the Germans in World War 2. The severe bombing of Britain was referred to as The Blitz. )
Funnily enough, I live in Coventry too (where most of the damage was done?). But my intentions were for more of a slang definition as suggested. Gnarly.
Yeah, anyone who's lived in Cov for any length of time (as I did) is aware of the work done by the Luftwaffe Redecoration Corp Ltd. =P At least they left one of the better pubs alone... However, I got the meaning of Blitzed in terms of the hack right away. *shrug*
