If I could make a suggestion on the "current" for Sonic - that middle spine on his head could use a touch up. Compare it to SSD2's. SSD2's middle spine curves a lot more gradually. The current one looks like it was bent and broken. Really nice, otherwise. EDIT: dem new pages
Hmm, I will take a look at it. However, the only difference with the middle spike is the highlight on it. The pixel count is the same when comparing SSD2's and Current's. Edit: ?
Getting there, getting there. Maybe raise the point a little, make it look a bit closer to the original or SSD2. I think the main problem I'm seeing with it is that the tip of the spine is too low down.
Going to get murdered for this, but my turn. PsychoSk8r showed me an in-progress MIDI of the track, found the final version (with the same link) and made my own for no reason whatsoever. On a positive outlook, the alternate soundtrack is okay, but the per-act remixes of the original soundtrack just nails it down.
I changed the art for my EHZ yet again. I'm needing feedback about the palette, and suggestions for the FG. And yeah, the water in the background scrolls, the waterfall is animated, and all that. Big thanks to HPZMan. :v:
I can't see the picture, but it sounds really good. [EDIT] Ooh, I love that palette! Kinda reminds me of the palette used for Green Hill in Sonic 1: Pixel Perfect.
That is awesome. As for additions... ladders? Some old libraries have ladders for reaching the highest shelves. If you had old-timey staircases to suggest multiple storeys, it could emphasise that the place was large.
You surly like moonlightish blue settings, Markey. =P It looks totally nice, but I would still try to add some contrast between the layers, maybe by choosing a different blue tone.
