For the obvious reasons, Sega gets a lengthy mention in the new Tetris movie from Apple.

Game Gear Vs. Game Boy I'm guessing?

Do you have any context, and possibly a screenshot?

One would hope it's for the arcade version that went down well (particularly with women) before the Game Boy's over in Japan - but that fact is almost never acknowledged over here so perhaps not.

No, Sega was the licensee for the arcade rights for Tetris from mirrorsoft. It is their licensing of the arcade rights that sets off a chain of events that leads Bullet Proof to realize Mirrorsoft only had the rights to the PC version of the game, not the console (or handheld) version, as they pivoted from building an arcade version of tetris to the gameboy version specifically because Sega got the rights. In reality, Mirrorsoft did not have the arcade rights either at the time, so their insistence on acquiring the arcade rights so they could fulfill their obligation to Sega is what allowed the USSR to force them to sign a new contract that better defined PC vs Consoles, which is what screwed mirrorsoft in the end. Sega and their logos are not shown in any capacity but are mentioned numerous times in the story.

Atari is briefly mentioned as well, for the same obvious reasons, but they drastically undercut Atari's side of the story. They more thoroughly explain Sega's side of the story, because it directly set up the consequences of the movie. Atari's stuff would be more like for a sequel if they ever made one.

Wasn't there a unreleased MD Tetris that got airbrushed because of that very rights swamp?

    Thanks again, YouTube subscriptions:

9:40 - there's an 18 Wheeler cabinet in Paul Blart: Mall Cop. Maybe some other things. Footage on YouTube is cropped or crappy.

The first safehouse in Alpha Protocol (in Saudi Arabia) has a Sega Saturn under the TV.

This isn't super unknown, but I noticed Retro isn't listing it, and we could do with a proper screenshot.

More info, because I'm currently playing through the game:

There's a console in Rome safehouse too, and being out in the open, you can see the model details a bit better. Turns out... it's a Saturn-Dreamcast hybrid thing - the top is a Japanese Sega Saturn, but it has four Dreamcast-style controller ports... in black.

It looks like Lemmings, but different art to the retail release.

It's probably easier to tell when it's animated but it looks there's a California Games cart in the first picture:

I was going to suggest the stick thing with a red button might be a QuickShot XV

but comparing them side by side, I'm less convinced.
