http://img371.imageshack.us/img371/6194/fd...idnvirnvga0.jpg Better Photoshop. Smoke effects still hard. I tried to be a bit more creative on this one, but the question is how far I may go. In the original sonic, the smoke was solid and only created the illusion of transparant. It's a bit like choosing between Zelda: Twilight Princess and Zelda: Windwaker: http://img371.imageshack.us/img371/2659/hi...080328nlwf2.jpg
Thanks for the remastering! ^^ As Ice hinted, the explosion should be solid (and sharper). Try with some more detailed filter, and don't be afraid of experimenting new stuff! The effect we are looking for is a mix of CG and cartoony effect. Please go on experimenting!
I have bad news. Recently my computer hasn't been working so great. I noticed there wasn't much space left. So I decided to delete stuff from my folder. A few seconds later I realized that I had deleted the file for my HD Grabber. I guess I'm going to have to start again >.<
Sorry to hear that, but now that you've gone through the process once, I think you'll be surprised how quickly you'll be able to pull it together again. Additional tries usually yield improvements in quality as well. Art is a very iterative process!

Yes! Suggestions: -Add more particles and definition to the cloud, up to the point it does not seem upscaled at all! -Remove the heavy shading on the lower part of the cloud P.s. The fire exploding spot is really nice.

http://spamtheweb.com/ul/upload/4108/50209...osion_movie.swf Change your screen size if it's too big. (PS: Free, non-registering site.)
What I don't like is that its just like it has been 4x. The last frame shows little particles disappearing but now it looks like giant patches. I think more detail needs to be added.
Indeed, push yourself beyond the original art limits and add more definition / particles! You're getting there!
Looking nice, but some more inbetween color shades are needed, to be even better! P.s. The right end of the latest fireball is too cut, try make it rounder!
Hello Team, Sorry I've been missing for a while yet again, secular work has kept me busy. I managed to set aside time for Tails and getting him 'ubered' up a bit, but something tells me he needs a bit more. Now I would love to make tweaks once I have feedback but at the rate I'm going at my workplace, this may seem like a mission. So im putting it forward to Vincent and yourselves if you would like to polish him up a lil more. I have added the original sprite and Uber Sonic to give you the base work I've been working from. Just like to say you are all doing a great job, keep it up! ^_^ Vijay http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?qui...3mf&thumb=4

Animated APNG, for Firefox 3 & Opera browers. -On this in the second frame, the left yellow part should not be moving left, it should be extended on the right side. -On this The second frame, lower part grows too bigger, but it's really cool! Congs!

Coming out of those rockets at high speeds, it should feature more straight and long lines, more similar to a "lighter's flame" put in horizontal. Else, it looks more like a "fireplace's flame", where the wind is constantly breaking its shape.
