Is there any sign of the PS3 demo yet on the European Store?

It's past 4 o'clock here in Europe. Where be my Sonic Generations Demo?

 

Nah, Sonic isn't the fastest thing alive. That title belongs to everyone's favourite mad doctor. Just look at how he can outrun Sonic in Sonic 2 and S3&K!

Anyway, looks like no demo for me, since I'm stuck with the US PSN. I guess I could always make an EU account like someone mentioned a few pages back, but eh. Still, everyone's impressions so far look like a good sign. One of my worries about the modern gameplay was that it'd be more like it was in Unleashed than Colors, but it looks like most people have said there's an improvement from Sonic's Unleashed and Colors control.

BST, which the UK is on at the moment, last until the end of October.

 

Actually, we're still in British Summer Time (GMT +1) until I think October 30th. So that means it's actually 16:21 BST. only 15:21 GMT.

 

One has to wonder why did they make Classic so small in this game.

Do the official character sheets specify his height as being that different to Modern's? That would make some sense out of this.

 

I know this will probably get lost in the stuff about the new demo, but I checked my wholesale distributor this morning while ordering some games, and they have updated the Sonic Generations 3DS release date as December 17th. Seems really weird to me since it's a Saturday, but I guess it's better to wait for an official announcement.

 

The Sonic Generations Demo is now up for me on PlayStation Store. Currently downloading and highly anticipating!

Any chance someone can post the link to the .pkg file for this? Still running an older firmware because of PS3 Linux.

 

Im not sure how the combos work. I do press up all the time but I never am able to finish them...or they are finished in full game? I know in the Colours you could finish the combos with the "Amazing!" one.

 

You finish them at any point through the combo with both bumpers on 360, so I assume L1 and R1 on PS3.

 

You can hold the stick in one direction for a quicker combo, but pressing in different directions seems to get you more Boost when you cash out with the bumpers, even though you can't pull off as many. It's like how five kick flips won't get you as many points in Tony Hawk as five different flip tricks, but you can pull 'em off quicker.
