Yep, jump height is tied to framerate (one of the fun advantages of playing on PC at 144Hz is apparently that your jump is just a little bit taller)

Weird that they don’t do a fixed update. That’s a rookie mistake. —unless the code is just that impossible to work with.

 

They did do updates, but Blind Squirrell's original contract ended and there's no major game-breaking issues so there's nothing else they can do.
This is probably the main reason they had Sonic Team handle Origins through the whole project, so they had people who could update the project any time they wanted, instead of worrying about contract expiration dates.

I JUST bought Origins. I have like 8 hours on it in airplane mode on my Deck.



Can't put this baby back online until my refund is process. They must never find out. I'll re-buy both once I get my money.

 

Someone find out if the game has any fixes or if they just dropped it wholesale.

 

Let's be honest, if it had any major changes they wouldn't have just tossed it up there without any fanfare.

Jokes asides I hope getting onto Steam picks up the modding community for this game cuz that's the only reason I'd get it.

 

I had the impression that modders were both uninterested in colors ultimate and felt it was too much of a hassle to do much with when they already have generations and forces.

But who knows maybe the steam version will be easier to work with

 

Still has denuvo and presumably a ton of other issues

 

As does most of Sega's offerings on Steam.
