Sonic Megamix

You aren't the only one with that bug, it happened to me too when I was playing shadow.
I'm getting a feeling that it's a common bug that needs to be squashed, I sure hope the megamix team knows about this.

 

Nah, I died with Mighty like that a couple of times before. =P

 

More ppl have had problems with collision detection in their hacks, it's a problem with the original Sonic.

 

I've died like that with almost everyone.

I actually like the HUD of the 1.0 version of Megamix, with the clock on bottom and the rings and score separated. It feels strangely less cluttered in that one corner, not that it was ever bad to begin with.

 

Brilliant! the first time I've been 'stuck' on a sonic game in years! =P

How is MMz4 supposed to be surviveable?
I feel like an idiot, but it's driving me nuts!

 

MMZ4 isn't complete, so I imagine you'd have trouble getting through it to the end, yes. =P

Holy fuck new Metallic Base is awesome.

The ground looks sexy, but what's that dithered pattern in the foreground? Glass?

 

Cool, looks nice I always expect something awsome from sonic meamix.

 

Yeah, it looks like full transparency under the TV filter, so people playing on hardware or under the filter will get the true effect.

 

It's looks good, but something looks a little off to me.
The lightest blue and white are too different, creating and odd look on the clouds as well as the lighting effect behind the buildings. I'd recommend changing the shade of blue or add another colour in there if possble to make the transition smoother.
Also, will the pink bars in the flooring be rotating? It's unclear from a still screenshot, but it looks like they do.

All in all though, a very nice edit I think and I do like bringing back the caution yellow and black stripes in some way.
