Aspect Edit, which you can find on the wiki. And yep, it specifically edits Sonic 2, Chaos, and Triple Trouble. You can edit level layouts, tilesets, mappings, and palettes. But for Chaos and Triple Trouble, you'll need to locate the correct offsets for whatever you wish to edit. (I don't have everything split in my Sonic Chaos disassembly yet, and I think there's only been a few things documented in Triple Trouble but there is a hacking guide for Triple Trouble on the wiki, and bellow in my signature I have the link to the Sonic Chaos hacking guide.) Robo Reactor 2. Palette needs a little fixing up.

 

Those are not static images.

 

Hmm? Are you doing sprite scaling on a megadrive?

 

All of that is software scaled.

 

I would try to do more to make the level design unique from Labyrinth Zone, and try to give it a bit more adrenaline too. Slow water zones are the least fun kind to play in my opinion.

Also, getting a sensible chuckle from the comments section.

This has my curiosity. The mixed assets blend pretty well giving it a new-stage look. Only thing I'd suggest is making the background color and foreground color a contrasting color.

 

Pay attention to the background here.



I may use this in an actual hack when I get proper art.

 

Wow, that kinda hurts my eyes a bit due to color contrast. Is this going to be a proper hack or a joke hack?

Anyways, yeah, they are placeholder graphics for now, and the hack is gonna be a proper one.

 

Well to me it look perfect.

 

I wouldn't be so sure.
Whilst artwork is top notch the palette is very dark and samey. Instead of going for just grayish blue you could splice it up with a complimentary color.

 

Just a small little detail I felt like adding.
