However, I will actually be improving the character and menu artwork soon. I'm going to alter the jump ball to have a new texture and be a little thinner and have some spikes coming out of it. Hopefully it'll look as good as I have it in my head.

Well my PC is under the knife, so no actual character edits... BUT tell me what you guys think of this title screen I started working on. I'll come up with an idea for the BG later. Oh and this is rather scalable too as the original size is 1909 x 1755

That looks great as a new style for the title screen. I'm feelin' it. I feel like something's off though. I'm not sure what it is, but something doesn't quite feel right, but ohwell, I might just be tired and seeing things. Anyway, continue with the good work.

Video update. Lots of things have been done:
- new lighting for emerald coast and speed highway
- new textures and extended design for red mountain
- act swap for speed highway, going into the tall building now takes you to a night time 'at dawn'
- new jump mesh, reminiscent of the cartoon show sonic

Wow... that looked pretty frickin' great!
One little thing, though; the At Dawn (well, I guess it'd be At Dusk now :P) section sort of looked like it was still set in a daytime kind of setting. I think it'd help if you were to alter the building textures so that some of the windows were lit, or something to that effect.

Just my two cents. It's up to you, after all, and it's just an aesthetic thing anyway. Keep up the good work!

Oh wow, really liking the new jump mesh. The swirl texture seems like it could use work, but for all I know it's a placeholder.

I'm loving the new jumping model. I don't know why, but it looks so much better than actually seeing Sonic curled up. Kinda reminds me of the old cartoons, good work!
