They're clearly saving their appearance for the pivotal computer room scene.

The computer room will just be Wade's, and the Chaotix will find his many failed attempts at online dating

So unless I'm misunderstanding all the episodes are going to be released on the 26th. Getting that 7 day free trial because my credit card can't take another streaming service.

Not too excited about another roadtrip with a human angle with mandatory car scene, but it is what it is.

Also seems Christopher Lloyd is Pachacamac? There goes the Gerald/Chuck theories.

McCann's (The Buyer?) character looks interesting. Always thought Knuckles needed his own human enemy character that was more brawler coded. The mech looks cool too.

Rest of the cast is decent too. Props to the person that added ESPN The Ocho for this.

My main concern about this series revolves around the episode length and pacing. Many series nowadays suffer from the issue of being nearly 6 hours long, whereas they could have been condensed into a more reasonable 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2-hour movie.

Looks great. I know it’s not the same but it’d be funny if Knuckles takes control of the mech. It’d make the Lego set a nice reference.

No one's mentioned this yet, but it also seems a lot of scenes are set in presumably Las Vegas. Lots of casino and club imagery. Perhaps this will be the movie universe's adaptation of Casino Night or Casinopolis? Would be fun to see like a NiGHTS pinball table prop or something.

I suppose that afterwards, if the series ends up being fairly lanky, it could get a Kenobi-worthy fanedit to compress it into something more reasonable? More footage allows for creative control over how it'd be cut - Keep an eye out for any updates from the IFDB!

My assumption is that it was the location from the prequel comic, "Pachacamac" working there also alludes to a "Mobian" population as well, so it fits more than an Earth based Casino.

The exterior casino shots look to be the exact casino that Casinopolis's exterior references, in fact. I'm not sure which one it is in Vegas but I've seen it pop-up before and the marquee lights are very similar.

It's in Reno. That's the El Dorado exterior where Knuckles stops the giant ball in the trailer. Palace Jewelry and Loan is also in the shot where Knuckles' fist are on fire. It's on the corner of N Plaza St and E Virginia St.

The episode titles posted a couple of pages ago also have Reno in the title.

    And then there is

A scene is set in a casino solely because a casino combined with Sonic is a good backdrop for sight gags, hijinx, and action. Not because it's gonna be some deep cut for Casino Night fans.

They will say "Casino Night" in dialogue, though, and pretend they're being clever with it.

  11. This series seen will be a little worse than Sonic 2 but better than Sonic 1. I'm not complaning by the way, this looks decent.

Knuckles with his OVA hat and bike looks bad-ass. Definely was not expecting to see Pachacamac... Wonder what will be his deal, but that could means they're gonna focus on the tribe we saw in begging of Sonic 1.

Knuckles just says that they never returned after going to hunt down Baby Sonic, so for all we know they took out Longclaw and ended up settling down in Nevada while trying to find Sonic.

Hate the frankenbites in the trailer, but the show looks like it's gonna be really fun! Better than I expected. I'm officially hyped.

I kinda hope they flesh out the powered quills thing a bit? That's been a consistent theme in the movies, but I feel like it could use some extra depth. A show seems like the right place to do that sort of thing.

Something neat I saw on Twitter (Though most likely just due to size inconsistencies) it seems like Sonic's gradually growing up through the series.

Again may or may not be intentional, although it has been mentioned a couple times that part of the movie universe is about growing up with powers. So take this for what you will.
And he does seem lankier, maybe this is meant to be a subtle nod towards the transition of classic stories (Sonic 1 adapting... Sonic 1, and Sonic 2 adapting Sonic 3K) and modern stories (Sonic 3 being Adventure 2)

How much does Tom pay for food, since he has 3 space aliens living in his house and a dog

Was Tails living by himself before he met Sonic? Was he living with his parents? Are his parents worried about him!?

Tom's a cop, half the town's taxes are going to his paycheck I think he can afford to feed everyone, at the very least he had enough to move to gentrification central San Francisco in the first movie :V:V:V

It was already a pretty similar idea in Movie 1 that the loose Quill Robotnik finds basically turned into a Chaos Drive, but with Knuckles apparently losing a bunch himself they've become even more like drop-ins for Chaos Drives without being Chaos Drives. They'd never be able to call them that, though, since that would imply their energy is directly related to the Chaos Emeralds. Even though that's the idea. I want to see how deep this is explored.

It does make me wonder if Gerald got around to making the real deal. He's the father of the pseudo-perpetual mobile "Chaos Drive" for christ's sakes.

Holy shrimp I can’t believe they made ESPN 8: The Ocho I to something real!!

Never thought I’d see something that originated from Dodgeball in a Sonic movie/series.

ALSO, I never thought I’d see a realistic sign post. I found it to be equally part unnerving and amazing.
