Sonic the Hedgehog Cinematic Universe Thread (& Knuckles)

All this time I had forgotten! It was actually super vague in-game. Apparently Sonic X and ShadowTH replaced my own memories of the game (I watched the subbed Japanese versions, so I saw the gun there, which was removed in the 4Kids version on Fox Box).

 

Well, Jeff said the movie will adapt both Sonic Adventure 2 AND Shadow the Hedgehog stories, so...

(And I think it's pretty obvious which Maria scene is more popular.)

 

Source on this? It's pretty obvious it's adapting Adventure 2 but I didn't outright hear anything on Shadow 05.

 

Of COURSE it's going to be the version from Shadow (2005)

IDK when it was added but the Knuckles series is now listed in the coming soon section of Paramount+. Its trailer said it was rated PG for Coarse Language. You may save the series to your list now.

This probably nothing, but after 4 years of inactivity on the website, David Humphrey, Shadow's original voice actor, updated his Twitter profile picture showing him in a home studio next to a picture of Shadow with a script on his screen. Could he be voicing Shadow in Sonic 3? It's fun to think about at least.

 

Doubt. Emi Jones is seen with a #KnowingSmile in the replies. Probably some fan projects.

For some actual news no one cares about. S3 is getting one of these kind of deals.

Not super surprising. Sonic 1 and 2 had some drink toppers and 1 also had a popcorn bucket and all of its stuff was some of the small amount of physical merchandise to actually release using the original design.

 

All I'm saying is, if Rouge is in the movie, they can beat Dune for "most fuckable popcorn bucket of 2024"

As a former weird kid who actually liked the Knuckles comics back in the day and generally considered him my favorite character, that poster really does it for me. I know there's no actual relation in this series of course, and I think I've already said this in the thread but it's just really cool to see him as a flagship character again.

The OVA's greatest legacy continues to be giving Knuckles a random hat because it's cool.

 

It deserves much more than that but we take what we can get around these parts
