Sonic Jam Animation

What animation?

Probably due to development time constraints

 

I used to always think there was a conclusion that'd be unlocked when you beat that 100 rings in 60secs challenge.

Bastards :P

 

Yeah, that thing was always quite curious. I just wish we could ask someone where the hell it came from and why it exists.

That city always gives me such a Station Square vibe when Sonic is running along the building.

 

That minute and a half seemed to be more engaging than a lot of other cartoons I used to watch at the time. Hence, fan.

 

Hmmm, it's got the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog theme music in it (yeah, I know that's not where that music originated from, but I think it's still noteworthy).

 

Actually, when I first saw this, I thought it was some sort of AoSth special, so I wouldn't say it's that far off.

 

That was sweet as hell.

 

Anyone notice anything...interesting about this?

Robotnik puts on a Modern Sonic suit...and that's kinda what happened to him over the last decade.

 

Feels like Animaniacs meets Sonic.

Would have been the best Sonic cartoon had it been turned into a show.

 

Yeah, that's the exact same cartoon animation as Animaniacs. That's nuts.

 

Didn't Naka said it was to test how Sonic would look in a world of humans?

 

For what it's worth, TMS (who animated this) previously did several AoStH episodes.

 

I knew it looked familiar, called it.

They got it right in this, but not in Sonic X. Sorry, had to bring it up.

 

Because one is American animation, and one is Japanese animation, both about 5-10 years apart.

Derp.

 

TMS is Tokio Movie Shinsha.

 

This looks like something that could have been developed into a show. Probably some preview animation that was never approved in the end.
