Sonic Dream Team (New 3D Game from Hardlight, coming to Apple Arcade December 5)

Personally I would love a game starring exclusively Shade and Zeena.

 

Honestly would’ve been a great place to test the waters for having the comic OCs in a more full fledged game with a plot.

Let Tangle be introduced to the wider audience damnit.

 

I think the character's an elaborate joke that's been running for 22 years - it's definitely a "dark" profession in the old rouge light district.

 

We just figured out her name, I think it was Arium or Ariam, either one. As of know, we know she'll be a companion to Sonic and co. But maybe they're gonna do some plot twist thing with her, where she has been working with Eggman and has been tricking Sonic and his friends into doing his biding. Just think it's kind of cool to see a new character for a mobile game of all things.

On Ariem being a potential twist villain, that is pretty interesting, given Sonic and co. might be in Eggman’s dream (with all the Eggman hands reaching out at Sonic in the animation), so she could be a fabrication of his own to manipulate Sonic into doing something in particular for him.

 

Would be a nice subversion of the fact that every new female character we've been getting has been a good guy, with the sole exception of Surge and even then she has heaps of tragic elements to mitigate her villainy a bit.

 

Not reading shit in this topic, just stopping to let you know that Chu Chu Rocket! Universe lived and died on Apple Arcade and that Apple stops letting you access delisted things two weeks after the delisting.

One way or another it is probably the perfect example to cite in any sort of collective statement about preserving this new Sonic game too!!

 

You talking about 14 year old game man, not many people even know she exists.

So we're not going to talk about how weird Talis look in some of the game clips? I do think some of the character renders look weird and I also agree that it's unacceptable for this game to be locked behind a subscription service. Hopefully it does get ported to consoles but until then I'll be watching the gameplay on YouTube.

 

Was this necessary to do, lol. I don't get why there are so many people coming in here and going "erm did you know that games hosted on subscription service is BAD?" as if that isn't the most agreed-upon thing in this thread. I don't think anyone in here is actually happy or even celebrating this fact and would much prefer this being a normal game release.

It also was a "companion for Sonic that's actually evil", just like people are proposing for Ariem. LOL

 

The storybook games are canon, Sonic directly references them in Generations and Caliburn even has a cameo in Frontiers.
