    Miss me?

    My video is being uploaded to Youtube as we speak. Just figured I would give you guys a heads up.

    ...well...the 1st half of it anyway.

    Yeah. Lava Reef was simply too much for one video, so I have split Sonic and Knuckles into their own videos. Sonic is being uploaded first.

    But THATS NOT ALL.

    You also get a helping of Hidden Palace free with no additional charge!

    You would have had A LOT more time in the Sonic video if you had cut the Hidden Palace fights.

    And in Act 1 you probably could use a Fire Shield to go past the walls that Sonic can't, though I would have to check (its' been a while since I did this on real hardware).

    Still, nice work with all these videos. :thumbsup:

    Sounds quite appropriate because of the time constraints, eh? lol


    TBH I quite enjoy the cheesy comments myself; it's all in good fun, anyway :p

    Nice to see another part =P My question about this one isn't so much a question as a discovery - at the end of Sonic's (and Tails') Sky Sanctuary, you run up the collapsing column and jump into the air (somehow landing on the far more distant Death Egg) but why should Knuckles need sprites for this section? I'm guessing at some point this level was intended for him to play in (same reason he can go into DEZ1 and 2 from the Level Select without having to force your way in with Debug Mode like you have to for say Tails and Knuckles in Doomsday Zone).

    Isn't there another place that uses those sprites? I know there's one in Lava Reef, but can Knuckles access it?

    Just tested it, he can't normally get there. If you get there with debug, however, those sprites work as expected.

    The artists probably got given a list of sprites to do, and told to do it for everyone. Just a coincidence that Knuckles would never need to use them without debug.

    The game didn't crash, it's just programmed to go back to the title screen at that point if you're not Sonic or Tails, I think. ;P Novel you can glide during the final chase sequence and it doesn't slide you, though.

    Nice job as usual - looking forward to Doomsday =P
