I was hopeful, but the beat just doesn't match up once the chorus kicks in. Ah well.

 

Personally, I loved it. He has some other Sonic/Metroid mixes.

Regarding the Nico Nico Douga/Sonic mashup...

I didn't really like this one. I have a bunch of the Sonic tunes as well as the Final Mix rendition of NND on my MP3 player, and this sounded as though I just had multiple songs going at the same time. The different sets didn't seem to mesh together too well. I mean, there's a mashup I happen to like, that was posted here earlier so I'm not going to re-post it, that has the final boss songs to Unleashed, Colors, and '06 blended together, and it honestly sounds very much like it's own song. I applaud this person's effort, and a couple places seemed to almost line up right, but on the whole, the thing was just too disconnected to sound very good.

 

It's okay to post mash-ups we made, right?

This thread is awesome. It's Mashup City Zone, and I love it!

Since I'm also a Tokusatsu fan, is there any kind of mash up with Sonic music and Tokusatsu music? I tried looking for the most obvious, a mash up with a Power Rangers theme and some Sonic music, but didn't find anything.

 

This like the second link when I Youtube'd "Sonic Mashups". It's actually not bad.
