Sonic 1: WTF LAME

Wow, I didn't know wetflame at first, so I thought it was going to be some weird effect.

Then I played it and hit the monitor, suddenly everywhere! I had a good laugh after trying to read some of it, good work. I'll try to complete it later tonight.

 

Just out of curiosity, what's the icon for the monitor supposed to be, if anything?

 

Looks to me as a white person with red hair, Wetflame.

 

It is a cropped picture of Wetflame's head, scaled down to 16x16 (so it looks horrible).

The fact that Sonic's palette doesn't even nearly match the colors in the image doesn't help either.

 

...haha, I love how everyone just replied at the same time. XD

The hack was amazing. I enjoyed hitting the fast forward button to see how long they lasted, some 2-4 seconds even in turbo mode! :O

 

I totally expected special stages to Wetflame me.

Also DON'T HIT THE RESET BUTTON!

 

I cant even read the wall 'o text sometimes it gives me insta-headache. And he wrote all this at one point and time? dear god...

That's way past cool, but did you try a Genesis connected to Sega CD to see if at least the PCM audio worked?

 

Er, the audio is played using the DAC in the YM2612...

 

Damn, even if you got throught the Special Ring, you get a Wetflame effect as well. He seems to view the entire internet community as a bunch of Assholes and Sociopaths.

 

Last time I remember seeing Wetflame was when he blew his top on SFGHQ back in the PHPBB days I believe.
I almost got past act one, but I landed right on a box. >_<
