Sonic 1: WTF LAME

Yeah, that's lame all right. Now someone actually make a real fucking hack for SAGE instead of a joke hack — that'd be a miracle! :-O

 

I have a better one for you. How about someone actually make a good game for SAGE.

 

I like how the post is always different when you hit a box. It adds replayability. Sort of. :v:

Also, I'm not familiar with this guy (though he sounds like a hoot). Is "W(e)TF LAME" a pun everyone uses to describe him, or did you make it up for this hack?

 

People usually use much more angry words to describe him.

 

This is the best hack ever. And it is easy.

You're not missing much by reading it. It's better off left ignored or skimmed because it's some of the most shallow reasoning and refusal to just be proven wrong you'll ever try to read.

 

This is the best game I've ever played.

 

This hack is certainly one of the most amazing accomplishments of the year.

 

So, use the level select to go to Final Zone and beat the game. Sonic will hit a monitor during the MZ demo (unless you exploit the C button bug of course).

 

Oh, so that is how Sonic can beat the game without getting wetflame'd :O

That's why this Sonic hacking "scene" has died in 2003 and is still dead.
To avoid drones jumping on me, you will have to understand from this single sentence.

I assure you nextvolume, if we were all nearly as pessimistic as you are with regards to the hacking scene, we'd be finding rainbows vomiting rainbows in our Sonic hacks rather than innovative features.

 

I played the game and hit the first monitor.

I laughed.

I played the game and beat the first level and jumped into the special stage ring (and was whisked away to Wetflameland).

I cried.

I used the level select code and beat Final Zone; then, Sonic hit a monitor in the credits demo videos.

I shit myself.

This hack actually makes me want to go back and read Wetflame's pearls of wisdom
