I asked the same damn thing on the Youtube for the sampler video... It's not from Black Knight. It could be a bonus track, because I noticed that when I got the album, my version is a first edition. We'll have to see.

My copy of this should be here by Monday at the latest.

 

Naturally, the dude who uploaded the sampler for this album is being a douché and not telling anyone what the song is.

Actually, I wonder if we pester Sega enough, would they consider releasing the music? It's clear the songs still exist in some form, or at least Look-a-like hints this.

Hey cool, not only does it have comments on the album itself from a few of the artists, but there are a comments from each artist for every song as well. I wish someone could translate.

 

This being an international release, they should've been a bit more considerate...

 

This is easily the highest-quality version of Look-a-Like there is, but why is it cut in half compared to what's actually used in the movie? I mean, it doesn't sound like it was ripped from the movie itself; the quality is fantastic. I always wonder if the movie's musical assets are still intact somewhere...

 

Supposedly, years ago, a french Sonic fan named Solly (Mary Yamasaki) claimed to have contact with one of the composers at Studio Pierrot and that she had received the OVA's entire soundtrack but was not allowed to distribute it.

Solly was, at one time, one of the more proactive members of the Sonic community, and was responsible for uncovering a lot of really fun behind-the-scenes stuff that wasn't related to the games.

I wonder what happened to her. Her site has been defunct for a while (Dream-avenue.com, I believe).
