Yesterday I had a very hard day at work and I was really tired so I didn't manage to connect, I'm sorry. Don't forget that I live in italy, so I will be probably sleeping during the week.

    Double post + Bump.

After some beta testing, I decided to officially release version 3.2 of xm3smps, with a lot of new useful features.
    Quoting from the changelog:
    • You can now remove a voice from the song you're converting
    • Added leading zeros for 1-digit values in the hex preview in the voice manager
    • You can now copy and paste voices from the clipboard
    • Added more options, with an "Options" screen
    • Fixed a minor bug related to non-looping songs
    • Added more Tool Tips and more Shortcuts
    • Optimized the XM loader: it now needs less memory (usually around 60% less)
    • Added an optimizator that tries to remove redundancy in loops
    • Fixed a DAC-related bug with some non-standard XM files
The meaning of these updates should be self-explanatory.
As usual, many thanks to Puto, but there is a also new entry in the "special thanks" field: Oerg, as he found out a quite obscure bug I always overlooked.

Also as usual, feedback and comments are appreciated. I tried to include many requested features in this version.

Go get it on the wiki!

While I do appreciate the feedback (thanks!), I don't think it was a good idea to do a 1+ month bump just to give your opinion on something decided since long time ago... Just saying.

Oh well, let's put some useful information in here since it's been bumped: the next version of xm3smps (whenever it will be) will support direct importing of voices in Cube/Iwadare format. The import filter is actually already in and working, but I don't think it's good to release 4239423 intermediate versions so I'll wait to have more stuff for the next release (namely, I still want to rewrite part of the code).

Spinball uses GEMS. I think that's the only Sonic game that does, in fact.

Yup. Unless it might have been used for the scrapped SatAM game.

    Or the 3rd of May?
Anyway, I have yet to work around the problem with MSCOMCT2.ocx. I put it in the folder with xm3smps, system, and system32 and still no go. I've tried millions of copies of it. Can someone help me with this?

    I got mine from here.
You are supposed to put it in /system32 & then restart your computer, it should work instantly.

Erm, # indicates decimal values instead of $ hex. *shot*
