Well, your way to get Knuckles into Sonic's act one is different than mine. My way doesn't involve the scrolling glitch.
Haha "Let's leave this problem behind." . . . "Not you too!" - Oh . . . Hilarious! Keep then comming!
So I have to ask... what happens if you get Tails to beat the second midboss when you do "The Killer Sign"? Does it try to move you to Act 3 or something?
The glitch you use in Ice Cap to phase through solid objects seems to work in any level that has no natural bottom, allowing for similar access in Sandopolis Act 2 as well as Marble Garden Act 1. (You may have done it in that video and explained it already but I am forgetful) It also works in Metropolis in Sonic 2. Not in Labyrinth Act 3 in Sonic 1 though.
Yes, in Sandopolis 2 you can use that glitch to get Sonic into Knuckles' path and vice-versa, as well as passing through timed doors without triggering their switches. Quite useful.
Awww indeed Now there won't be any update til I get back from my hols. Ah well, still good, hope you get your drive sorted
These are awesome and informative videos. Keep up the good work! I had a very fun time watching these. I never knew there were so many level glitches in S3(&K). The video made me feel very nostalgic. =P
Sorry if this has been covered, but, in my play of Sonic 3 on Mega Collection I had beaten CNZ1's Miniboss, and Tails came flying down. In a Sonic Only game. I was worried for a while, and then Tails drowned and stayed drowned. Can anyone explain this?
I think I should have moved some stuff from the first video into the second. I thought there would be more glitches in Act 2 than what I actually found. Oh well. Launch Base Zone is up next, and that's the most glitch prone area in the game, and probably in the entire 16-bit series.
