Incredible, I can't wait to give this one and the rest a spin. I'm gonna play it from start to finish, every single version.
The file is still on the disc in the final game. In case you like it that much for some reason: Code (Text): Replace intro movie with "Sonic Team Presents" 057F4A5C 18D497F8 057F4A60 002F9800 Great to see that all of this neat stuff is present. Can't wait until this torrent is done.
I dunno as I haven't been able to test it yet but I hope that there are some "extra" features apart form debug mode and super sonic ^^. Stay tuned guys hehe.
Hmm, a debug mode, eh? Well, if this doesn't open up some sort of possibility for modification, then I don't know what will. By the look of things, if your able to see what object number it is, then wouldn't that leave room for open modification of the object?
SONIC ADVENTURE MEGAMIX But srsly, yea. This leaves room for so many mods that aren't halfass. *coughsonicnextgensupersoniccough* I wonder what debug mode would be like with other characters like E102 and Big and Super Sonic.
I found this item in debug: I have no idea what it does, when I pick it up I get It has no english translation, anyone care to translate for me?
chaoka-do... EDIT: Yeah, I'm way out of my depth here, but I'll do what I can of the next line cha o su ta ji a mu <kanj> <kanji> no shi ru shi
The second line says something about Chao Stadium Membership, but the sentence appears to be incomplete.
The first word in the second line is Chao Stadium. I think it's saying the Chao Card opens the Chao competition area. EDIT: Partly ninja'd
So, this card may have been a key item you had to find in order to participate in Chao races? Hmm, this is quite an odd thing. It seems like a good idea, yet it doesn't at the same time. Do you get what I'm saying?
<!--quoteo(post=180529:date=Feb 24 2008, 01:26 PM:name=Sazpaimon)--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Sazpaimon @ Feb 24 2008, 01:26 PM) I have no idea what it does, when I pick it up I get It has no english translation, anyone care to translate for me?[/quote] Cha-o-ka-a-do Cha-o-Su-ta-ji-a-mu-(kai)-?-no-shi-ru-shi "Chao Card Chao Stadium (assemble/meet) (?) (sign)" I still need to find that second kanji. It looks like the texture you see on the door when you leave the Chao Stadium to go back to Station Square's Chao Garden. EDIT:
Found another unused item: It's called 0 ITEM STAND. It has slanted sides and the corners are flat It has its own animation too, the lights slowly fade out And the top disappears. Then it reappears again and the cycle repeats.
That looks like that might have been an early version of the alter for the Master Emerald? I mean I immediately thought that when I first saw Sonic standing in it, and looking at it's design. It looks like an alter to me. And if it's not, it looks like something for use on the Egg Carrier. I don't know. EDIT: Tweaker, now that you mention it, it DOES look like something the upgrades would be placed in.
Is there any Chao stuff? Like hats, or other secret items? Oh, and I should learn how to stream files onto my Cube. Already have a BBA and PSO~
I agree with Tweaker on this one. The game calls those power ups "Items" I think. Although I don't know why it's only (?) in Mystic Ruins, it should be where an item should be collected.
Its worth noting something about debug mode here. Many objects have special instructions that can be modified in the different ANG or SCL options, usually explained in the item description. For example, let's take our mystery item here: Look at SCL X. To the right it says "Item No (0-1)" This means there are two subsets of this item in the game. Let's turn on scale mode. Press A+X. The Sub mode will change to rotation. Press it again, and it will change to Scale. Now, by using the X,Y, and B buttons, we can modify the scale of the item. X and Y handle the X and Y axises, respectively, and B takes care of the Z axis. Now, let's change the X scale to 1. What's this? a different type of head for this item has appeared! Some items they don't want you to mess with, for example: All of the Tikal settings have a nice message saying "Don't EDIT!" in red text. Obviously they don't want you to mess with it, as it can break things.
