Years of damage control after discovering that yes, Honey in fact had pigtails just like her Fighting Vipers counterpart, wasted. A glitch in an emulator that wasn't fixed for almost 4 years after her discovery. Guess her image truly is THAT saturated. As small as the image is, I'm still disappointed it's inaccurate, and will likely be the only Sega related cameo the character will ever get. Well, aside from the Saturn copy of Fighting Vipers intro. EDIT: It's seemingly taking forever to get approval to join the BumbleKing Comics forum, which is what Ian states as his only form of communication he wishes to use. Could anyone mention to him that's already registered that I'm wishing to speak with him? EDIT2: Got in contact with Ian. He said that is the first he's ever seen/heard of the pigtails. I also mentioned the yes, as her Fighting Vipers counterpart had brown eyes, not blue. He said he'd pass the word along, but it would be unlikely that changes could be made for something so small and so close to a printing. He didn't say it was impossible though
Has anyone checked out Sonic Super Special mag #2? I flicked through it in my local comic shop and they removed Amy's boner from that Sonic Adventure story! :v:
While pondering over my issue #3 of the pre-regular-series [May 1993], I became fascinated with the idea of taking the original series, and scanning them page by page - then taking the images, fixing them up [removing wrinlkles, tears, etc, "restoring" them], and making PDFs out of them - cover to cover, ads and all. Anybody up to such an effort? It will be hard since I have a lot of re-releases from 1998 with different ads, along with original issues, but it would be a cool project to undertake.
I'm guessing it's meant to be her hammer. Anyway. Just read Sonic #234. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ at this whole ark. I don't think any arc has made me just go "ಠ_ಠ" besides the Aizen arc in Bleach and the 3rd episode pf Magical Trolldoka.
Lol. World Trade Center. Anyway, shit's getting fucking real in the comics now. I'm actually legit excited for the next issue.
I read #234 the other day. Just...holy shit. Even though I knew what happened already it was still shocking as hell. Next issue can't get here fast enough.
Time for some Sonic Universe #38 previews, courtesy of Destructoid: http://www.destructoid.com/eggman-is-tearin-it-up-in-sonic-universe-38-223773.phtml Images behind the spoiler tag because they're kind of large: Spoiler Have to say, I didn't expect we'd see the command room from Shadow's game ever show up.
I know it's been said before, but this is really how the comic should have been all along. The unified and all around rather decent art, the storylines that are mostly sensible when seen as a whole, the balance between humor and serious storytelling and just a general commitment to quality. Every new preview I see on here makes me think about delving back into the comic.
Jamal Peppers strikes again! He is my favorite penciler now. He should really do all the comics. With Jim on inks this looks beautiful.
Spoiler OK, as someone who's never seen this character before, does she scream Penny from Inspector Gadget to anyone else? =P
I.....I didn't think it was possible.... They came up with blokes that look even more like fancharacters..... Also, some updates
Well, this one's...unexpected. So I guess Silver's staying in the present a joining Harvey and Elias' new team? And who are some of these people? Is that supposed to be Jules in the upper left? It sure as hell doesn't look like him, but there's really no one else it can be. It looks more like the destroyed Metal Sonic from #86 and #87, but Ian's been pretty firm on his Dead=Dead thing, aside from Sally, so it'd be pretty stupid if it was him. ...Is that Larry Lynx in the middle-back? Never before has a cover confused me so much. EDIT: According to some people over at Bumbleking, the two on the right are the Wolf Pack twins who no one ever remembers because they never did anything. They're also saying that the guy next to Silver might be a miscolored Elias, but the problem is if it's him, he's off-design too.
I haven't kept up with Universe at all, so could someone tell me, is that version of Metal Sonic new to the story, or has he been part of it for a while? #86 was my first ever Sonic comic, and that model is obviously modeled after the #86 version. That cover makes me interested in picking it up!
Guys its gotta be Silver Sonic Mk. II: http://archiesonic.wikia.com/wiki/Silver_Sonic_II Hes been destroyed since #98 when the SA2 arc(?) was going on and Shadow was being a jerkoff but his remains were picked up by J.J. Moto and has been MIA since. Ian did say he wants to bring J.J. Moto back and this seems perfect and with him comes SS Mk. II. makes sense right?
