What is it about the drowning music that makes it sound more menacing on the Genesis than any of the orchestral versions? It sounds so bold and mechanical on the Genesis whereas the orchestral versions just don't pack the same punch. Maybe it's related to childhood trauma or something.
I'd say Sonic's first words were "yes" or "I'm outta here." I.e. his spoken dialogue in Sonic CD. Then again, I think he might've spoke in one of the Japanese ads or something.

Well, Sonic's first words are one of two options, both from the same source. It is either "HELLO!!" or "Expect much of next!"
