Sonic Game Name

I chose other, so my suggestion would be Sonic Galactix

 

Something in German might be nice.

Sonic Saga Episode One: Das Blut des Smaragds
Something like that.

 

Errr these names are kinda cheesy don't you think? Sonic Zero sounds okay though.

I'm not too keen on the German name idea. I don't think it sounds right. Sonic 2 - Das ist nein gut.

Sonic Zero is the name of my old hack that I had going around for a while. You might wanna choose something different.

 

I'm guessing nicht means not, where as "das ist nein gut" means that is no good. It still works. :P

 

It doesn't work that way, Nein means no but it doesn't work in that context.

Anyway, bobxp is right, "das ist nein gut" doesn't make any sense in German.

 

I always thought that Sonic The Hedgehog: The Death Egg Saga would be a sweet name. A combination of Sonic 2, 3 and Knuckles. One big story.

"Nein" isn't used in that form or sence. "Nein" is used for answering a yes or no question. If you were going to use "no" in a sentence you would use "kein" which also means no, but is used for sentences instead.

Example:
Ich habe keine Zeit. -> I have no time.

The correct form is nicht gut.

 

Ah, thanks for clearing that one up. "That is no good" is commonly used where I live, so it was easy for me to get confused. EG; "Shall I hammer in this nail with a rubber chicken?" "That's no good!".

But let's get back on topic.

I guess this name thing is quite tricky; all the good ones are used and it's too easy to use a corny one. Corny ones are no good at all. *shot*

I guess, to me, a good name would have to be "Sonic 2 - Unfinished business". I like it. It's a tad bit cheesy, but not too much. After all, it worked for Tomb Raider.

 

You know what would be good?

It's already bee ndiscussed that all the games built into one running on from eachother would be damn near impossible on the megadrive, but what about using C++ or something?

About the name thing, what are you planning for your hack?
