Consider my e-hand touching the sky right now. But E3 is in the middle of June, so leaks would come by then. And that gives what, three weeks? I'll bet that any leaks we get by then will be of E3 assets. Sonic Colours is going to be the Sonic game to showcase there, with Sonic 4 just on the side (like Unleashed and Chronicles in '08).
Why is that description of the DS game giving me Sonic Rush with Color vibes? Not that I'm complaining, I don't mind Rush.
Truth be told, it kinda halfway was. Someone at Siliconera found the trademark very early this morning, and I have to think that was at least somewhat a factor in this announcement coming shortly thereafter.
This may be the Heroes-esque game that was hinted. Switching between Sonic and Tails could be in. Sonic Heroes meets daytime Sonic Unleashed meets Trippy Alien Amusement Park Worlds... = AWESOME! Also 'colours' reminds me of the Heroes 3 colour switching mechanic...

No, you're not. It's...a horrendous name. I know the colours of the Wisps are meant to give you different powers...but no doubt they could have had something better.
Anticipating an October 11th release date? The name and overall concept is pretty weird. The target is clearly kids though- Wii/DS exclusive, cutsey and lots of colour. The name is to the point.

Sonic's Interstellar Adventure (through time and space) would rock my socks. And frankly, I think Sonic Space Carnival is better than Colours. It must be the goofy vibe it gives off that I, and most other Sonic fans, can relate to. And it isn't exactly worse for the kids crowd than Colours. (This post was of course in regards to the name)

Simply depends on the country. Sonic Colours just sound strange because it's a very strange subtitle that could mean a lot of things. The others (like Adventure, Advance, Rush, Riders) tend to be a bit more normal and tell you more.

Yeah, but Sonic's the fastest this on foot. The whisps are clearly floating around randomly... Also, Spectral Sonic. I'm calling it now. "Rainbow Sonic" would sound....a.....bit.....pussy. "Spectral" just sounds more badass...(not in that kind of way...you know what I mean) I predict, that either Sonic himself will be flashing more colours than Las Vegas OR He'll be regular Super Sonic with a multicoloured aura around him. (No, that doesn't replace Hyper Sonic, I imagine that in the current generation Hyper Sonic would be a bright Platinum-white colour (to avoid seizures)
