I remember following this series of cell phone games for a while.
GHZ has a nice documentation on 'em.

Take a look if you haven't seen screenshots.

SonAR now has every single ROM there is to get.
All that's left to dig for are Sega Pico backups and various cell phone games.

Anyone know if these things have been dumped or backed up anywhere?

edit: I got a full VMU set, but nothing Sonic or Chao related. :(

edit2: God damn Sega took my idea of Guns on Shadow's Sonic Battle sprite. Not that was going to USE the idea. =P

Nice collection you got there. I just have one question relating to the S3&K rom section:

Do you (or anyone) know what is different from the ROM?

I'm not sure what this actually is, it's near the start though:

    Code (Text):
    1. C:\>fc /b pdx-sonic.bin skn.bin
    2. Comparing files pdx-sonic.bin and SKN.BIN
    3. 0000042D: FF 00
    4. 0000042F: AE A1
    5. 00000433: 00 2C
    6.
    7. C:\>
I joined the split with Ucon64 and Converted it to BIN with GenRomSuite.

Sonic and Knuckles was released: 18th October 1994
This ROM was released: 21st September 1994

So not really months before, just under a month before :P

I assume a bugfix or two. A IPS patch was later released that turns it into the final version of S&K.
    Three bytes though. Fixed.

    Sonic Cafe games please. =P

The tiles in Sonic Putter look like they were ripped from Kirby's Tilt-and-Tumble, then had their colors reduced. And "Tails no Flying Get" looks to me to be a single-player version of the Tails minigame from Sonic Battle. Some of the games with more advanced graphics, like Sonic Kart 3DX, look really good for something played on a cell phone.

The S&K difference is unlikely to be a bugfix with only 3 bytes changed. I would suggest the bytes are to tag press copies or other internal copies, which is why its also before release date.
