A development build of Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, dated July 18, 2014, has been dumped on the Internet Archive. Definitely worth its own thread. It was just released today so I don't think anyone's had time to go through it all that much yet.
Yes I saw this on my travels too, and wasn't sure whether it was vaguely known about. I guess the fun thing about Rise of Lyric is that development probably occurred right up until its November 2014 launch (and indeed after launch... because it was a broken mess). So we can be fairly confident (if the numbers are correct) that this prototype was genuinely built 4 months before the final game. None of that "x weeks lead time while we print discs" situation of old.
