My Review of the Hack:

PROS:
- You definetely know your stuff! You make Green hill Betinized and I truly enjoyed it.
-In the Scrap Brain 2 END, its awesomehow you put it together!
-Sparkling Zone's Pallete change has a subtle coolness.
-Scrap Brain is pretty sweet/
-I love how the letter scrambling occurs when you hit enemy's
CONS:
-This may be a prototype hack, so ill go a bit easy.
-Change the Level maps! Make some incompleteble without debug, and also, beta nize the special stage!
-3 Levels have little or no changes (Marble, StarLight, and Labyrinth)
-Make Scrap Brain 3 Come after Labyrinth 3, and give it Labyrinth's Pallete
-Make Final Scrap Brain 3
-Once Agin, Level and object editing.

All in All, If this is a First version and things will be fixed, its a 7/10
If Its the Final, Its a 5/10
I hope more work will be done because this is a very cool looking hack. Son where is my Sonic and Knuckles Beta Hack =P

 

I would personally like to see level art and mappings changed to match the beta screens. such as stars in spring yard, and other stuff seen in magazines.

 

use Nemesis guide:
8x8 tiles = Actual level art that is compressed in Nemesis Format
16x16 tiles = mappings compressed in enigma format
128x128 = I think these mappings also use enigma format

 

Good hack, very well made, but you might wanna look at sonic's underwater sprite, it goes light=blue which would normally be darker then the normal sonic sprite, so you might wanna change that to either the same colour or a even darker colour?

also for Marble zone, try changing the background so it has UFOS like we've seen in places?

I agree. I've always wanted that in a S1B hack.

EDIT: Wait, I've had a brilliant idea, replace the sparkles that appear when you get rings with letter scrambling! That should make it look more like S1B.

 

I tried that in my sonic 1 hack, it didnt work I don't think its possible to have 4 acts in sonic 1
