Quackshot: Maharajah Part 2

I am honestly not seeing much resemblance apart from both take place in India.

 

I don't get it. What are we looking at here? I'm usually good at these.

 

Huh? I don't understand what we're supposed to be seeing...this game is like...as far from Sonic as platformers can get.

Also, how on earth is the sound even remotely similar? For that matter, the colors are a lot darker too, and the level design is nothing like Sonic, it's full of doors and slow-paced hallways...

I just...maybe you're seeing something we're not?

 

The only resemblance I'm getting here is both are set as mazes, but even then the style of mazes each game have are completely different (Marble zone being more like a hedge maze and Maharajah being a door maze). As far as comparing music, colours etc...I don't get how they are like each other.

 

Marble Garden is on the Floating Island, like all of S3&K.

 

I.... Don't see it.

 

You can't deny that there's a huge Indian influence on the level though.

 

The only resemblance I see is the foot-tapping animation Donald makes. It reminds me more of Spring Yard Zone and even then I don't see much in common.

 

I don't see ANY resemblance at all. Where's Tweaker to shut down this discussion about a level in a Donald Duck game when you need him?

Incidentally, I'm also not too sure of the resemblances here. Do you mind explaining them, man traic? I think it'd help give this topic a tad bit more substance.

 

I can't help but say I'm still not really seeing any connection here.

 

The music instruments do sound a bit alike, in a few places.

 

It's not very similar.
