Hello everybody. Scarred Sun told me to post this announcement by myself if I felt like doing this, and so I am. Basically I've been given mod powers. Tweaker actually wanted to promote me to a full moderator after the x64's accident, but I always declined because I don't like to have too much power. On the other hand I love Sonic Retro and I like to help as much as I can, so after these few months I finally decided to accept the offer, in the hope I can do something good on the forum, I'll try to be as helpful as I can. A necessary big thank goes to Tweaker who still felt like giving me this chance after these months, and to Scarred Sun who had nothing against this promotion. I can't believe I'm given all this trust after the bad things I've done in the past, but I will try to make sure you two won't regret this On a semi-related note (woo two announcements in one), yesterday I ran a couple of sql queries on the forum database to restore a last batch of ~500 threads which were still messed up after x64's attack, due to some forum ID conflict arose when we imported the old db. There was nothing big in there, mostly tech hoaxes and sprites, which had separate subforums before, just like Competitive Gaming stuff and a few other things, which is why we never noticed until yesterday when I was looking for an old tech hoax of mine and Tweaker guessed there was a problem with the db when I couldn't find it. I'm happy to announce that now each and every thread is back to its place. Go wild.

Needless to say, if you see (or you do) something wrong (e.g. double post or something) and you want to notify me, you're welcome to IM me on AIM (nineko84). I've set it to relay messages even when I'm offline or hidden, so if you don't see me there you can IM me anyway; if no other mod took care of your issue by the time I see your message, I will gladly proceed to take the appropriate action. This isn't true for YIM and Skype, as I'm rarely logged there. Messages sent there are very likely to be lost.

What? Mods are sysops. I admit I haven't been editing the wiki a lot in the recent weeks, but I'll try to focus again on it as well. Of course keep in mind that I have a job now and I don't have pngout on this machine <_<
