You know the starting point of Wood Zone? that enterance area that you seem to just "fall" down... couldn't that have the same movement thing as metropolise? heres my theory:

If Wood zone was to be Metropolises past (as some beleive) then maybe the machines in Metropolise that flash and shoot sonic miles ahead could be infact over-laping a special ability of this wood forest... see there are gaps in the trees that make it look almost the same as this sort of movement (as in the attached image below for comparison) they both have gaps and a similar entrance. only thing is wood zone's doesn't teleport you. could I be right in saying this?

Ever since I played Wood zone for the first time I always got the feeling that the entrance should've worked like Metropolises's teleporter

  4. I can understand how a metal tube can some how teleport you with the aid of some technology and mechanical parts, but how does a holo tree trunk teleport you?

I can't see a wood transport Sonic really fast. I mean, only if Eggman tampered with the tree, it's impossible for a tree to be able to do that.

Well, is it possible for a blue hedgehog to wing-walk on a plane? :P I thought not. As for the theory, this is what a lot of people think, like Drakmyth said, and I personally think that it's a good theory - if we could port the teleport object over, we could probably actually make Sonic teleport through there...

Tubes in general are a bitch to try and work out, and Metropolis' tubes are no exception. We don't know precisely how it works, and you'd probably need to recode it to work in WZ.

I thought it was common knowledge that the tree was going to be a turbotube but wasn't implemented yet

Hey this is a sonic game, hedgehogs don't really run that fast, foxes don't have 2 tails and cant fly, and echidnas are useless.

ahem, tails is a kitsune (a japanese mythological creature resembling a fox with many tails, the more tails they have the more powerful they are, the most powerful kitsunes have 9 tails). plus echidnas are facinating creatures, did you know they are one of only 3 mammals to lay eggs?

Ah yes. Oviviviparous mammals. Strike me down with a lightning bolt (correctly programmed in ASM, of course) if I'm wrong, but aren't kangaroos and duck-billed platypuses the other two?

Uh, what the hell. I know there is the playtpus and the echidna that lay eggs, but what is the third one? I don't think there is a third one. Unless you mean the two species of echidna (I think there is two, anyways).

Ben2k9, see, he siad sonic game...but video games, is much more of a broad term. Sonic is not the only game that's not realistic.

Kangaroos don't lay eggs. Only monotremes do, which includes one species of platypus and two species of echidna.
