    I probably should get back to work on my site someday...
    I'm sure this'll end up gettin trashed, but I was wonderin what they were sayin in the music for Launch Base. Is it just "GO! GO!" Is this the first song they've done that has voice samples in it?

    Ice Cap also has some words in it.

    I wish I knew why there were voices in the music. It always seemed to strike me as weird. Well, good thing they changed that IMO awful music into better music for Sonic & Knuckles collection for the PC.

    Its crap music, I have the PC version and it sounds like sonics gone to a marching band zone! The Megadrive version of the music is WAY better.

    Mini boss battle
    Knuckles theme
    Competition
    Carnival Night 1,2
    Ice Cap 1,2
    Launch Base 1,2
    Credits

    And those were probably written by Americans. And the rest by Japanese. Of course that's only me guessing.

    How can you even hear the voices, let alone what they`re saying?! :blink: I always thought in Launch Base they were just repeatedly saying, "Go! Go! Go!" :lol:

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that when you play as Sonic in Launch Base Zone, it says "Go Sonic, Go go go Sonic!" in the background. But when you play as either Tails or Knuckles, it just says "Go go go!" in the background.

    I haven't played Sonic 3/S3&K in a while, so I can't remember exactly.

    Not to shoot your theory down Fiz, but I don't really think they'd take the time to make different tunes for different characters, even if it was a slight voice change. But then again, since the voice quality is so poor (I think I've heard better on NES games), we may never know what they're really saying. Kinda reminds me when I listened to Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit song the first few times...
