To make a long story short, months ago I tried to reformat my laptop and only used the operating system disc to do so. I was told that I should use the other discs in conjunction with that to make the laptop the same as it was when I first got it... Look, I'm sure the whole thing is very simple, but I'm having a lot of trouble, so if anyone knows the process of making a Dell XPS M1710 like new, software-wise, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Download 'unknown device identifier'. It'll tell you what drivers you're missing, etc, in great detail, so a google search becomes easier.
