Saw the trailer earlier. My sister absolutely loves RWBY, and I'm just about done with my first-ever playthrough of Persona 4. Seems like a pretty good purchase on our end.

It has five seasons so far ( I think? I don't watch) and was made by the late Monty Oum (Haloid, Dead Fantasy) and is totally animu. It has JP dub and got a manga adaption as well as a video game.
Aah I see, that makes sense then. Interesting for them to debut characters from a game they hadn't alreday made in that case as a majority of the roster is gonna be a copy paste job, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Its fifth season is starting October, and the leader of the BlazBlue team (Toshimichi Mori) is a huge fan of RWBY. Central Fiction even had RWBY character palette swap references on 4 characters.

Ruby's voice seems to get more and more higher pitched each season. It normally doesn't bother me too much, but in this game where she is constantly yelling stuff out during gameplay, it's a bit jarring.
Agreed. Ruby has never bugged me until this game, but holy crap she just single handedly made me hope the Japanese RWBY cast will be an option. That, or have her re-record her lines.
