Note: First off, I wanted to thank you for allowing me to be a Trial Member on Retro. I know that this will be a good experience. This is a description on the way that I am doing my LPs on Youtube. I have (sort of) figured out how to use Hypercam 03 for recording. My main concern is the recording performance. Right now, my videos have skipped audio, or the video is going faster than the audio. If you take a look at any of the 04 videos shown below, you'll see that they all have the same problem. If you could help me with this problem, I would feel better about this situation. I will now be silent, as you observe the videos below. ~Let's Test out Castlevania NES: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrIBnBfb1r0...feature=related ~Another Test Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQauE1hlnp4 ~Unnecessary Bloopers in Rockman 05: Wily's Dream Space: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pBtr0Lhq0k...feature=related ~Unnecessary Bloopers in Rockman 05: Wily's Dream Space 02: What I Didn't Show You...: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZ—YyCwyLo EDIT: The Sonic Megamix v. 04.00 Beta Test video does the exact same thing, as well. Take a look. This one does it the worst out of all the better ones. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1JrQ4beXkA
Why are you using Hypercam? Use an emulator that supports direct AVI recording, like Nestopia or NNNesterJ or something. So long as I'm here though, if anyone knows of a desktop capturing program that isn't complete shit for recording games, drop me a line. BB Flashback is the best I can do for recording off of SSF, but this is far from optimal.
I used camstudio to record some videos of Sonic Classic Collection on the DS. THe only thing is, it desyncs at high framerates, so you've gotta fix it afterwards with virtualdub or something.
