A Mighty pain in the ass.

I remember that quote from somewhere else, as well. I don't think they wrote it themselves.

 

But wasn't Mighty meant to be one of the strongest characters, hence the name?

Besides, Espio is the only good one in the Modern Chaotix. No use in getting rid of him.

 

I read on some website a while ago that Mighty was originally going to be the main character in Sonic 1. But he wasn't what we know him as now. He was originally going to be the main character in Sonic 1 and was a brown coloured armadillo.

Then of course someone came up with Sonic which was seen as much 'cooler' so they went with Sonic instead.

 

Which sounds more like the British Sonic the Comic origin story of Sonic to me. Brown hedgehog at the beginning, etc.
