What the hell is wrong with Knuckle's face in this pic? It looks like he's wearing lipstick, and his eyes are derp.

EDIT: Actually the eyes look normal now that I look closer, it think it's the lighting that makes them look odd. His mouth still looks odd though.

 

Yeah, I was gonna say. The lighting's messing with his right (our left) eye quite a bit. His mouth is just open. Doesn't seem odd to me...

Man, I'm really disappointed about the whole Shadow thing. If there were any new age characters I would want to play as, it would be him. Then again, we don't really know who all will be playable and not, do we? Am I the only guy here that wants to play as Shadow? Someone's with me right? lol

 

I'm pretty sure it's just Modern Sonic and Classic that are playable in generations

 

I thought it was confirmed that you could swap characters in certain occurrences, via the demo data? I hope they didn't scrap that concept; I'd love to play as other characters again.

I'm kinda intrigued by the fact that Blaze seems to have went out of her way to appear in Sonic's dimension for his birthday. In fact, I wonder if the writers will expand on every characters' presence there, instead of just having them... there. I'd prefer it that way, since it'd open to more character interaction, but not much about this story is making alot of sense anyways. =P

So, what's up with all the DS screens? I thought it was confirmed that the majority of the levels were based on previous handheld games, and three classic zones. But the pic of Sonic being chased by the whale indicates otherwise.

And that's a common misconception about the 3DS version. Iizuka said they were considering using handheld stages (why they would be considering it this late in production I have no idea) not that there would definitely be any. So far, the stages all seem to be there for a reason:
GHZ is more than obvious.
CSZ came in second for S2, with CPZ winning.
EC came in second for SA1, with SH winning.
MHZ seems to be a direct response to the MHZ video.

 

Is he boosting straight through those...yeah okay, not buying.

I recall reading that the DS version was focusing completely on the handheld history of Sonic games. But I may be wrong.

Maybe they'll turn around and punish the player for boosting recklessly?

Also, Emerald Coast in Gens 3DS... Now that's kind of a curve ball.

I guess we can assume that second place winners of the contest (excluding Heroes and S3&K I guess) will be making it to the 3DS?

...Does ANYONE remember what was the second place winner for Sonic Next Gen was? (dunno if I'm hoping for Kingdom Valley since it might be worse than in 06 )
