I have some more additions to my collection:

    Sonic Riders 2 PS2 11/30/07 review
Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity PS2 10/16/07 preview
Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity Wii 10/16/07 preview
Sonic and the Black Knight 02/02/09 Comic Con NY

A Sonic Unleashed X360 proto is also being sent to me.

I'm not pursuing having them dumped (it's a costly process), but if anyone is interested, it would cost around $1500 for the five discs. I can probably dump the PS2 protos separetely for around $200-$300 each. Again, I'm not pursuing this, but these questions tend to pop up.

If you own them, how does it cost anything to dump them?

Awesome! Unleashed is probably the most interesting out of those. Good work.

Gathering information on Sega World Sydney and collecting Sonic merchandise.
It doesn't, but those protos are expensive, so if the Sonic community wants them, they'll have to pay for them first.

I thought drx's policy was releasing stuff for free, on a donation basis.

I just thought drx didn't have the means to dump these at first.

Do you really need any special equipment to dump PS2 disks? I thought you just need a DVD reader... so I assume he just wants to break even with whatever he paid to get the disks.

Don't really care about the spinoffs, but I think you probably COULD raise $1500 to dump SU360; had I a PayPal account, I would donate myself.

My only question is are there any worthwhile differences between those and the finals?

Well, I'll be interested in the two Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity prototypes for the PS2, as I don't have a Wii, and I wanted to try out Zero Gravity.

And the Xbox 360 Sonic Unleashed prototype sounds very interesting, it'll be a perfect milestone for the Sonic community.

Depends how far back the 06 beta will be, there could be some interesting data.

Damit you guys, I told you to steal the Sonic Unleashed demo from E3 so DRX wouldn't have to pay >$1000 dollars for it.

Zero Gravity is out on the PS2.

Though I assume no one can play it without a debug/test unit, right? I don't remember if a modded system would play these things or not.

Wii prototype discs use a different format than both DVD-ROMs and Wii retail discs, known as "RVT". I've seen some YouTube videos of software hacsk to get RVT discs to run on retail systems, so it may be possible to rip RVTs on a retail Wii using a custom application.

According to http://debugmo.de/?p=96 , NR discs (the equivalent of RVTs for GameCube) were exactly the same as retail GameCube discs, except they have a different offset for scrambling the data, plus the data is XOR'd with 0x9. I'd assume that RVT discs use the same method, but this is speculation, since I've never used RVTs.

Depending on how old it is, the Sonic Unleashed proto could be very interesting.

    Working on my art!
Hopefully it's the E3 beta. That'd be really interesting.

I'm interested in all beta sonic stuff, though no way myself I could cover any kind of money like that :(

If I had to put my money towards one dump though it would be sonic unleashed 360, that game seems like it has a lot of selective things cut or changed.
