The Brush has a game built into it. It detects pressure on the teeth and motion, this in turn unlocks "daily progress" through different zones. Yes there are different zones mentioned in this. If the person brushes their teeth for the medically recommended time, they are awarded a chaos emerald. And the light on the brush shines with the respective colour. This has a daily cooldown so you have to brush every day for 7 days to beat the game and get all 7 emeralds. But more interestingly. Roger Craig Smith was hired to record unique dialogue for the device. Fellow members of the Sonic Retro Message board... This is no different than trying to find those wacky old Japanese arcade machines to dump which have barely any gameplay e.g. popcorn shop. It has all the hallmarks of a game, has some technical stuff going on, unique official voice work... This is technically, a new Sonic game. Costs $25.
Shitposts aside, this is actually a pretty cool idea to get little kids into the habit of brushing their teeth regularly. Though I wonder how Roger felt when he was called into the studio to record lines for a toothbrush of all things

For reals. I actually agree with this. I have this electric Toothbrush which you're supposed to use in 1 "quadrant" of your mouth for 30 seconds. It vibrates and you switch. It also has a light that shines if you press on your teeth too hard... ...And I never ever use those features lol. Simply having the built in timer on it that literally says "Hey you need to keep going" would probably encourage both kids and adults to brush correctly!
This reminds me of the toothbrushes that had music play for 2 minutes as a timer for kids. It would vibrate through your teeth to make it easier to hear. It worked decently well. I had a KISS one that played Rock and Roll All Nite. It’s definitely a weird but unique use of the license lol but I could see myself using and loving this as kid.
Reminder that the first time wr heard Roger Sonic, it was "CHECK OUT THE CONSOLES. WHOOOA." The Sonic VAs aren't strangers to weird scripts, especially Jaleel White. If you know... you know, lol
