I know. I saw the footage. I was very clearly just parroting back what he told me, and specified afterwards that I found time to watch the footage myself. No need to get short.
It's amuses me that we got Mean Bean Machine instead of the original Puyo. On the SNES service, we actually got the original Super Puyo 2 instead of Kirby's Avalanche. I guess I just expected a similar thing here.
The clue is the "2" - (Super) Puyo Puyo Tsuu is the sequel. And a better game... at least from a gameplay perspective. Screaming Arle is never as much fun as Compile liked to think Bog standard Puyo Puyo doesn't really offer much over Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine other than lots of Japanese text... and more screaming Arle.
Puyo Puyo Tsu is also a very brutal game. I play it every now and then on my 3DS, but gosh... Still a great game for sure.
Some people prefer to experience the original, unadulterated game with the Puyo Puyo characters. Especially now that the PP series is more well-known in the west and is even considered a Sonic Team series, still getting western releases every now and then, while AOSTH has been dead for decades.
The best part of Sega Genesis - Nintendo Switch Online to me is the fact that Nintendo will be producing and selling official Bluetooth Genesis/MD controllers. What a world. With that said, the six button being Japan only is confusing. I would have assumed they’d do one PCB with slight mold/print tweaks per region, but for the controller to be so drastically different in JP surprises me.
This already happened with the Sega Genesis Mini, for whatever reason we didn't get the option to get one with six buttons. If you want a six button controller than the ones from Retro-Bit are solid in my opinion.
Wait... is that the only reason Nintendo's not doing that? And Nintendo isn't even going for competitive pricing? They just think you'll pay for the novelty of a Nintendo branded Genesis device?
I SO STRONG Anyway filling in some gaps - Fighting Vipers on the Sega Saturn has full motion video, and in its introductory sequence, lots of... things. We had the Lunar Fox documented and I've seen Honey mentioned before, but what about the transformed Rocket Metal on the left? That bike is a smaller version of Sanman's bike, while Kumachan is in there too. Not sure about other things though?
Because Lost Judgement is advertised. Any M rated games usually come with a request by the company to age-restrict.
