That boss song is awesome. I've been listening to it for near 30 minutes, and can't stop.

 

I am curious, though... When will a demo of this ROM finally be available. I've been following the progress since the spring of 2007, and still I wait. I'd love to try this game, and have eagerly awaiting an official release.

 

That's a nice boss theme, I hope the next version will be more dynamic and more rock.

23rd December? Ouch, I didn't expect it to take so long but at least it will be worth the wait.

 

I've just learned about the beta. I'll do my best to make a remix of this song. Once I'm done, I'll edit this post and PM Aquaslash.

Edit: Okay, here's what I came up with... I changed some of the instruments, and sped up the tempo. This is my first attempt at altering a MIDI, and I do like the result. Click here to listen.

 

Hey so is it just me, or is Silver's new standing sprite (the one in Aquaslash's sig) a completely different style to all his others seen in the latest vid?

Well regardless, that standing sprite is kick-ass to the max-extreme. I freaking love it. :D

I was wondering, why Sky Highway is now called Chaotic Streets?

 

Aquaslash didn't want two zone names to start with the same letter, so some of them were changed.

 

SEGA never cared about this, as there are SLZ, SBZ and SYZ just in Sonic 1.
Not to mention there are two GGZs in Sonic 3D. Also, CNZ and DEZ.

 

Hm, Dec. 23, 2009?! Thats' a long wait... But it's worth it.

And that Scourge sprite and his super form... it would be great to see them in a future hack (Blaze too)!!!

Oh so you used Tidal Tempest good future BG from Sonic CD for your White Blaster zone art.
Looks nice though I would have expected a completely new BG but oh well...
On the other hand, that Metal Sonic version looks excellent.


May I ask if Sapphire Storm got a new BG or if it use a BG ported from another Sonic game?

I've just reading the Wiki article, and from what I can tell, this game is tying in with Megamix?

 

Very nice, good design for Metal Sonia. The level background template is an excellent choice and really fits the theme. Nice job!
