Like the new HUD. Very stylish (and something completely different for a change).

Nice to see you're adding other stuff, too.

I think he's telling you he can test your hack on his flashcart to find out if it does. =P

    I'd go with B.

also where does everybody get all these awesome voices ;)

EDIT: also that HUD is just Alba Matter font shaded in, right?

From the looks of it, I'd say it's the HUD from Sonic Rush, with shading.

now that I look again, I see it is. It's just that that Alba font is very similar.

I prefer the second song, as there is such a thing as too much square wave.

The second version is nearer to the original one.

Now, the original only used the Sega CD audio channels, right?

I highly doubt it, but I may check it in KMod if you want. *checks*

EDIT: no, it also uses the Mega Drive hardware.

It uses two different SMPS songs overlayed—one handles the FM portion, and the other handles the PCM portion. PCM is used for bass and drums, while FM handles the rest.

Yes, the bios does use SMPS.

Part of Team Megamix, but haven't done any actual work in ages.
The original song uses the Sega CD PCM channels for bass and drums, and 5 MD FM channels for the rest. It's also SMPS, with version B being a direct port, with the bass moved a FM channel previously occupied by an echo, and with the drums moved to DAC and PSG Noise.

OK, people, who here wants to hack the BIOS in order to put new songs in it? *lowers both hands just in case*

Yay, a shitty YouTube video! XD

Can't wait to see some new layouts. That's when this will really get off the ground.

Wow, I'm really liking the progress so far. The only nit-pick I have is with Sonia's arm, it's too still when she's running at full speed. :x

I'm looking forward to future updates! (:

  19. And like, beats Megamix in the ass!
