Sonic RDX Update

    That's awesome. Though any traces of a transformation animation are likely gone at this point.

    There's 1 animation, that I have no idea what it is, it's all messed, up, all the models parts are in the wrong spots.

    Aaand that's probably it too. Just garbled beyond recognition ala Hidden Palace in S2.

    Don't know what to make of that first one, but that last one seems like it could have been a transformation.

    Other opinions?

    The second one looks like either a transformation, or Sonic at one point had some sort of head-long dash move. The first one looks like the beginnings of a 'stage clear' animation.

    Neither of those is a transformation. The first one is an unused (as super) "landing" animation, its a carbon copy of sonic's normal landing animation. The second one is also taken from sonic, and is the transition from victory pose back to standing.

    A few things:

    *The texture on the "SONIC" could be a bit better I think. Perhaps something a bit more gradual? If anything, either the outline or the interior should be another color.
    *Whether you capitalize "the" or not, "hedgehog" should be capitalized either way.

    yeah I touched it up a tad bit... I might do some more hacking tonight at my friend's place if he's home.

    So it would seem as if the model ripper we currently have misses things... I've found a pointer index at the end (beginning) of emerald coast (Files load like programming code, you can only point to what comes before the pointer), and the pointer index contains pointers to object structs that don't appear in ripped files... this doesn't happen often, but often enough to let me know that a new object ripper is probably going to have to be written if one wants to make a level editing program for SADX...


    more hacking info as I come across it.

    So, am I correct in guessing that's the boat from way up in the casino level (totally forgot it's name)? At least, part of it.

    Looks custom to me. Look at the front of that one, too pointy compared to the Casino one IMO.
