I'm surprised how good Sonic with the Balanced Mod is. He absolutely tore through most of the missions on S Class. Some item luck was required, though. Oh, do I have some stories...
Traffic Attacks are impossible for me, as are most of the later Drift Challenges. I really wish the tokens in the World Tour could be used to buy stars via rare chances in the slot machine, but leave the sticker for the people who have the patience to fail hundreds of times WHEN ONE MISTAKE RUINS AN ENTIRE RUN. Kinda like Super Mario Galaxy 2's bronze stars.
Yea...I finished the Traffic Attacks and Drift Challenges a while ago. I kinda wish the resulting AGES mod was more...game breaking. Ban/rebalance it for online and time attack, but let me go fast as shit and turn on a dime without having to choose between them after all the trouble I went through unlocking the damn thing!
On the start of Race of Ages I drove into the back of someone, got slowly launched backward back over the line, and it took ages (lol puns :v: ) to accelerate to a decent pace again :specialed:
I was the one that kept getting bumped out cause of my Internet. Turns out all I had to do was reset my router. The last couple races on the 360 I were in were fun. Thanks guys, we should do this again sometime!
Then it was someone else, I noticed it in the Skies of Arcadia because it was Bartman who did it. He knocked into someone and they launched off the track into the distance. Wii U wasn't safe from glitches either, I got the DNF glitch and booted at the same time.
My 360 froze on the first match and it's rather difficult to get out of 10th place when it seems the weapon balance doesn't adjust based on position. I had to maneuver myself up to 5th or 6th from all the item spam hoping an All Star would drop, and yet everyone else was being showered by them. Is there some system to exploit or is it just lolluck.
So what to the all star mods do? All Star moves last longer? You have a chance to get them more often? Is that viable?
There is no All-Star mod. If you mean the stat, it seems to mean how effective the attack is. For instance, take Ralph who has an All-Star stat of 1. His attack is a simple area of effect move that hits anyone close to him from any direction, then you look at Dr. Eggman who has a full All-Star Stat (I think?). He has a shooting attack that's pretty much unavoidable.
Yeah, AGES has a similar thing where it'll become a fleet of Harriers from After Burner and fire fast moving (Firework speed) homing missiles.
Ok so it's how effective the All Star moves are for that given character. Those can't be changed by different mods in the stats can they?
From all the mods I've unlocked, I haven't seen any that changes the all star, might be wrong though. Also, preordered the PC version, although I'm hoping this one will actually have online this time.
