Sonic Adventure 2 in somewhere in America...

This is quite random, and most likely a complete conincidence, but last week, I visoted an area in Spain known as Rozas.

There is a very nice beach, but in the very centre, quite out of place, is a small patch of dingy grass with a greek pillar in the middle.
As soon as I saw it, I thought "Aquatic Ruin".
Then I thought about how Neo Green Hill in Sonic Advance was a beach. Then I thought about how Aquatic Ruin was originally Neo Green Hill.

I only got one picture of the green area, and not too many good ones of the beach, but here are some comparison shots. I had to do some fadeout on the Sonic pics, in order to make it more real, with no bright colours, as the pics I took were done at twilight/sunset.

 

Whoops, just a pillar then. Reminds me of the greek pillar style.
