Ha. The Tails 1-up music is from Sonic Advance 1,2 & 3 obviously. Very nice touch. I also seem to like the S3D invincibility music.

 

None of you suck as Tails. You're all just as good. :P

Assholes used Super Tails. Clearly I'm the superior one with my handicap.

 

I couldn't tell, actually. Whoever manages to play through Sunset Hill as Tails, WITHOUT taking any damage, THEN I'll be able to tell which is the superior one. :P

 

To be a little specific, it should be the person who gets hit less, if no one can pass the level without taking any damage. But, I'm sure everyone can pass.

Guys. The idea wasn't to compete with each other. The idea was to show off Tails' moveset so far as best we could

 

I finally finished this with all the emeralds, and am astounded. Tails seems to be a welcome addition and I'm looking forward to Megamix 4.

My only gripe was that as Mighty, if you have all the emeralds, you cannot transform if you have more than 1 shield. I ended up mashing the keys, going back and forth, until I had no rings :P But, perhaps that was intended. *shrug*

 

Now I know someone asked if this could work on a flash cart somewhere in this thread, (its on one of the many pages!), hopefully I am not sticking my nose in where it is not wanted or anything, but after a bit of tweaking on file sizes I was able to get the game working on one of those ToToTEK carts. (This was a version that was sitting in a download on the Sonic Retro site). Its probably out dated, but its still fun to play

Well, apparently I missed a while bunch of controls, such as the light dash attack, being able to store a shield as Mighty without using a new one, using B+C to transform (I thought it was A+B+C D, and other embarrasing stuff.

And this was after I beat the game will all emeralds for each character.

 

Nobody reads the manuals.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but when you're playing through the classic levels [mode select] with Megamix control scheme, I can get through all the way to act 3 of the Marble Zone, but when I finish it, it resets itself to the main 'SEGA' screen. How come?

 

I think I lost count of how many times that was mentioned already.

 

Never happened to me before. You might have an outdated version of it and guessing you probably got it from the first page.

 

Yes, mentioned and happens alot. You will have to wait for a newer version for that to be fixed.
